DawgStrip Gambler 500 BC 2017

We’re not alone on this DawgStrip adventure —We drag friends and family along and have our own “Gambler 500”. This was far from a flawless road trip, but we had a great time, and luckily managed to keep the wheels rolling!

The organizers of the local Gambler 500 BC could not attend due to conflict in scheduling, and the event was officially cancelled. Meanwhile, since we already had vacation time booked, vehicles prepped, along with a vague notion of the route, so we moved ahead on our own.

For those of you wondering ‘What is The Gambler 500?’, essentially it’s a weekend adventure, covering 500 miles in a $500 or less vehicle.
