So is trading stocks gambling? Well, most people treat it this way.
See, the other day I was sitting next to a 20-year-old on an airplane and he saw that I was looking at some charts.
So he was asking me, “OK, do you trade?” And I said, “I do.”
He told me that he started an account with Robinhood and he has the following stocks: He has Chevron, CBX, Exxon, Tesla, and Apple.
When I asked him, “OK, so when are you going to sell these stocks?” he said, “I don’t know yet. Should I sell them or not?”
Right? So this is where you must have a plan or a strategy. The strategy tells you what to trade, when to enter, and when to exit.
You also need to have the right tools that can assist you to make these decisions.
You see, he didn’t even know what charting software was. You also need to have the right mindset, because trading is a marathon, not a sprint.
